Payment and Deposit
To make a
reservation we ask for a AU$200 deposit over and above the estimated
cost of the rental. At the end of the rental, all charges are added up
and deducted from the deposit and the balance is refunded.
Please note: This deposit is non-refundable if the
booking does not proceed
The hire charges are to be fully paid 30 days
prior to commencement of the hire. Please contact me with a Receipt
Number of your direct deposit with your surname in the reference/message
field.
Insurance/Bond
Standard Insurance has an excess liability of
$2,000 that can be reduced to $400 for $15 per day. This is payable with
your rental fees 1 month prior to pick-up
A refundable bond equivalent to chosen Insurance
Excess Level is required at pick-up in the form of a personal/business
cheque. The bond cheque is not banked provided the vehicle is returned
on time, to the correct location, undamaged, clean and refueled. Returns
over 2 hours late will be charged a full day unless prior arrangements
are made. All gas bottles must be filled, toilet cassette emptied. If
the motorhome is returned without emptying the toilet cassette then a
charge of $50 will apply. All parking and traffic violations are the
responsibility of the renter. I acknowledge that the policies of
insurance taken by the Owner of the vehicle will not be available to me
if I have breached this rental agreement. I agree to immediately inform
the Owner of any, and pay for, Damage, Third Party Damage, Overhead
Damage, Underbody Damage and Water Damage in accordance with the Terms
and Conditions of this rental agreement. It is prohibited to use the
vehicle off-road, such as cross country, on bush tracks or on beaches.
Damage caused by driving on unsealed roads, overhead damage etc as per
terms and conditions will incur extra liability NOT COVERED BY
INSURANCE EXCESS.
Licence and Age Restrictions
Drivers must be 25 years of age or older to hire
out our Motorhomes.
We require a valid Drivers Licence from your
country of origin or an international drivers licence if the details are
not in English.
Collection and Return
When you arrive in the Devonport area you will
just need to contact us on the number provided and we will come and
collect you. For safety and convenience collection is only available
during the hours of 8am to 5pm seven (7) days a week.
Change of Vehicle
If no substitute vehicle is available our
liability is limited to a full refund of the remaining portion of the
rental. Repairs may be carried out at the most convenient location
available after authorisation is gained from our office.

Paradise Motorhome Hire reserves the right to
refuse any rental hire at its discretion. This document does not contain
all relevant details, see contract for full details provided at pick-up.

Cancellation Fees

booking price
07 – 01 days prior to pickup = 75% of rental costs
Day of Pickup= 100% of rental costs
